Chris Francis, the Head Chef of est Wine Bar
and Eatery moved to Martinborough five years
ago. Originally from Wales, Chris spent nine
years at Eton Wine Bar in London.
He draws upon the high quality and diverse
produce of the Wairarapa, whilst enhancing his
philosophy of cooking contemporary European
cuisine with a global influence.



est was the Wairarapa winner of the Good Food Awards - Michael
Guys eating out awards and the magazines restaurant of the year for
2006.
est was awarded the New Zealand Beef and Lamb Hallmark of
Exellence in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
